Duncan Kiplimo was born to a family of five, as the second born son of a well to be teacher and a tradesperson. He is a student at Meteitei Boys’ High School, Nandi County in Kenya. His love for poetry started when he was a very young boy, and he wrote his first poem when he was 15 years old. After a great inspiration and continuous encouragement from his English and literature teacher, he published his first poems when he was 17 years old. WODP mentored him through to make him realize his great potential, and with the flame burning within him, he took a step forward to explore poetry. made a move to publish my own anthology under the title, “FROM THE AFRICAN LEFT HAND INK”
