About The Author
Evans Mutie
Evans Mwendwa Mutie is a poet, a modern dancer and an actor born in Kitui in the late 90’s. He is a student at Kisii University pursuing bachelor of arts in literature, film and theatre. He began his works of art in his primary school where he used to do modern dance and recite solo verses in the Kenya national drama festivals. His greatest motivation in his works is to touch a soul and relight a candle within someone that is down and to encourage those that are up to keep striving. He has participated in many competitions and group releases for instance; #TheTwentyNine, and World of dreams poetry as a member. He also featured in an anthology by students of Kisii University namely, In The Murk of Life.
